When I first saw a picture of this little girl, I knew she was special in some way…though I didn’t know why till today. She’s another little miracle of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! 

As someone who spent countless hours volunteering and lots of money donating to St. Jude through ESA, this warms my heart in so many ways. It’s stories like Avery’s that make me proud to say I joined a sorority that raises awareness and funds so that children like her can live a long, healthy life. After visiting the hospital numerous times and meeting these kids, there’s no doubt in your mind that St. Jude is a special place. I encourage everyone I meet to go there and see the hospital. Listen to the story of how St. Jude came to be. You’ll be amazed.

And now my favorite band has joined in the cause. I have never respected and loved Sugarland more than I do at this moment. Their music has already save many lives and now they’re spreading awareness to save even more. How much more amazing can these two get?!
